Rebuilding Gulf Coast Libraries
In the years since Hurricane Katrina, library advocates in the Gulf Coast have made remarkable progress in rebuilding libraries, collections, and communities. LFF has been proud to support their efforts, from participating in the lightning-fast rebuild of the Alvar Branch of the New Orleans Public Library (pictured) to awarding grants to libraries in Louisiana and Mississippi, made possible by LFF’s partnership with the Bush-Clinton Katrina Fund.
